The AAHS/Longshot loads listed are at or near SAAMI max pressure with the wads they list. I hadn't planned on it. SAAMI max is 12,000psi. According to the Hodgdon website: AAHS, 1oz shot, 15.7gr of Longshot with Win209 is 1,165fps at 10,900psi. AAHS, 1oz shot, 17.2gr of Longshot with Win209 is 1,220fps at 12,000psi.Lots of room to work for 1.25oz of bismuth and 25+ grain Longshot. I usually load 27.5-29grain. I think the low pressure loads were targeting a niche in the loading community. Using components that are available now while introducing a new wad is a good move IMO. Pretty close with a slightly lheavier than 7/8 oz shot load. 26 grams = 0.917 oz. 7/8 oz = 0.875 oz. It's iffy in my 1100 and 390 gassers; sometimes ejects, sometimes doesn't. Wouldn't function my buddy's Benelli inertia gun.+1 for Titewad. Loads really good in a AA hull and helps with stack height problems. I certainly agree that Titewad is great at 7/8 oz but it's density is such that it seems like 3/4 oz is going to be difficult with the normal 7/8 oz wads (DR-XXL, CB-0178, etc.) without some sort of filler - at least that was my experience when I tried it some time ago.

Favorite load 17.5 gr of 700X, Claybuster 12SO wad, Winchester 209 in AA hull; pressure in mid 7's and running near 1200. shot410ga. I've shot 3/4oz loads for years in the 12ga, but the CB-0175-12 is used, one designed for 3/4oz loads. I use to load em at 1200fps but found they pattern too tight shooting skeet. Now I load over 1300fps and I get pretty nice breaks out to 40 yds with just I/C or LM.FWIW, you will need the CB0178-12 wads. They are the same style as the CB1100-12 wads stated in the data, but just different enough to give the right wad column height. I've tried 7/8 (24 gram) loads using the CB100-12 and you aren't going to like the dished crimps. When I began comparing 3/4 oz 12Ga versus 3/4 oz 20GA, I found that the patterns were slightly better coming out of the smaller 20GA hull, so I just stuck with that.
