The reciever should be cut into 3 peices with the center section holding the serial number. You can have the front half with the cut trunnion and barrel and the rear section. Couple of questions for "de-demilling". I just got my trunnion and my cocking tube separated. Now I need to cut the spot welds and free both of them. On the cocking tube, where it meets up with the receiver there is a weld bead. I imagine I need to grind through this as well as the spot welds, and carefully so as to not scrap the cocking tube ...Now this may not be a problem with a M16 hammer or the AR15 hammer, it is for the modified RRA's 9mm hammer.
