i recommend about once a week, depending on how much you play. i guess it‘s not an issue on every map, but on some there are some spots where dinos or specifically fishes like to accumulate and clearing them out can help to reduce the lag. it‘s also good for keeping a balance of different wild dinos and dino levels. 1. The dino wipe will most likely cause the server to hang after a few minutes, please note that the server may appear to lose connection when it hangs, but it doesn't fully crash (not for me anyway), and if I leave it for a short period the connection will re-establish with no requirement to restart the server.
