On the way home, my brake light came on and eye sight looks to have turned off, along with a few other lights. i pulled over and restarted the car and it went away but after a minute it came back. I drove about 5 miles on a hot day then shut the engine off for about 20 minutes. I have an Ultra Gauge semi permanently hooked up to read a variety of engine gauges and conditions. One of them is check engine codes which allow you to look up (online) what the check engine code is. Also allows you to reset the check engine light. About $60 online only. First time posting. We have a 2018 CrossTrek. Lately, the check engine light turned on, along with all the other warning lights (RAB, eyesight, etc.). Nothing works. Plus, the engine shutters at low acceleration. My wife remove the gas cap and put it back on with one click past close. Then the light goes off and everything works as it should.
