I am feeling a transmission shudder if driving at 20 or 43 MPH with my 2007 Acadia. Once you pass through those speeds the shudder stops. Those speeds coincide with the new GM transmission calibration: From 2 to 3rd gear at 20 MPH and from 4 to 5th gear at 43 MPH. If the vibration is being transmitted into the steering, it's highly likely the suspect is at the front end of your vehicle. Having the tires rotated, like what RBarrios has suggested will help identify if the problem follows the (problem) wheel to the back of the vehicle, or if the problem 'stays' up at the front-end.

Since the service, the vehcile will shake or shimmer when accelerating between 25 and 35 miles per hour. I took it to my nearest GMC service department, but they have no idea what is causing it. I took a test drive with the mechanic, and of course it did not ... My 2012 has a hesitation in its acceleration when launching from a complete stop. We start to accelerate and the car moves, then there's a hesitation in the acceleration. Pressing the gas pedal further gets it out of this lull, as will waiting for a 1/2 second with the gas pedal in the same position.
