2006 Honda CR-V whining noise. 2006 Honda CR-V is making whining noise when accelerating and while in park. Power steering pump has a hissing noise. Well after owning my Jazz for 2 yrs and 9 months and driving almost 85,000kms, there hasn't been a single problem to date.

The button has a 'sound' icon on it. Push it in, and the car will beep as you approch something to the rear of the car. I recently bought a used 2014 Honda CR-V. I noticed in my garage today, that there is a strange rattling noise right when I put the car in reverse or drive gear. It is much more pronounced when the car has the AC turned on. I have linked the videos of the noise to this post. The noise does not exist when the car is put on neutral or park.The auto locking mechanism does make a bit of noise when it activates but it is programmable as to when it happens.
