There are subtle differences between the UNP and CBBE family bodies, that in my opinion ( or perhaps its just my lack of literal "pro-level graphic arts skills") preclude directly converting a UNP into a CBBE character and faithfully reproduce the same body geometry. However, as Ishara said, you can use simulated-UNP, CBBE ... CBBE - almost 10 years of development and it still looks like crap. Not sorry. Balloon hips and a chest that sits too high. If that doesn't matter, lots of ability to customize the mesh but the basic shape is broken in my opinion so it doesn't matter. for the record, CBBE on Fallout 4 Blows Skyrim out of the water. the character models with the ultra hd textures, just looks amazing in comparison. its like going from dvd to bluray. thats a big part in why i stopped playing skyrim, i hate how fake the game looks. with the right setup, fallout 4 visually blows it away.It changes the faces, and it has higher resolution textures for everything, but keeps the same body mesh as the regular game. UNP is more sober, polys are well distributed. CBBE, like in the name, is more caliente, more curves, sometimes not so natural curves, but i don't think the mod caters to natural. Not going to do cons, as over the years I've found many UNP-fans tend to be rather...aggressive about other peoples views on it. Which is a con in itself. =/. TLDR: I prefer CBBE. I use CBBE 3BA. But it shouldn't matter. The only real issue with bodies are outfits not playing nice with Bodyslides of the other body type. You can wear UNP outfits, but you will get some clipping issues. Alternatively, there's also new UBE bodies. UBE basically features a working anus, if for whatever reason you like THOSE kinds of mods.
Basically your CBBE body is a big butt/big bust body type, while UNP offers a more proportionate physique. I use CBBE in my game, but it's all a matter of preference. UNP is compatible with vanilla bodies so if you find an armor mod that is for vanilla, UNP will work with it, and vice versa.
