For me, small army tactics might work, but you need to double your troops numbers. 30 instead of 15 or so. There's no real scenario where you use 15 "elite" troops for anything. But if you were to say at least double that number, you should use either Khan's guards or heavy mamelukes, and nothing else.Focus all units on one side. Infantry at front with shieldwall, archers start shooting. Shoot all enemies, do not use any rams or towers. Retreat after 8 minutes and instantly reengage. Placing the latters and walking them half way forces enemies to defend. You can kill a garrison of 800 with 200 archers.
