However, whenever I load the game, it does not work.It's also impossible or much harder to execute several actions at the same time. The loss of time, the frustration of moving items around, and the sluggishness of menus (which you have to navigate all the time in this game) just makes it a no-go. Really one should only play Zomboid with a gamepad if they're playing split screen.Steam Deck's improved interest in controller support for many games, and Project Zomboid has been Verified as fully compatible for the handheld console, so it's more than likely to improve over time.
