It has an automatic transmission. I replaced the Holley 2210 carburetor with the 2300, but other than that it is all stock. The 345 has a bit more umph but not a huge difference in my standard transmission 1973 1210. Don't get me wrong, the 345 is a beast but I don't think it would be worth swapping a 304 for a 345 in a Scout... because there's ...Oh, and the biggest issue w/the 2210/2245(which has an adj. PV BTW), is that the air cleaner stud anchors in the upper casting. Over-tightening the wing nut pulls it up and causes the accel. pump ports to leak down the body instead of dis- charging out of the shooters as intended.They take std. holley jets, so re-jetting is easy enuff,if you wanna.To try to remedy this, I enriched the mixture by backing off the 2 idle mixture screws at the base of the Holley 2 barrel 2210C model carb (original stock). I turned the screws counterclockwise 1.5 - 2.0 full revolutions each. It runs better but still hesitates on hard acceleration.Holley 2210 power valve?
