Hunter arms fulton serial numbers
I have 2 doubles made by Hunter Arms. First, my Dad's SxS 16 ga labeled "The Fulton". A plain gun, but light, slim barrels, nice to carry and shoot. Second, an L. C. Smith 12 ga, not in great shape. Barrels labeled "Twist Steel". I looked up the serial number, and it appears to be made in 1892. Any info would be appreciated.before using your L.C. Smith or Hunter Arms Co. Fulton shotgun. It is marked "L.C. Smith" on the sideplates on both sides of the receiver but "Hunter Arms, Fulton, NY" on the top rib near the breech.
