Nclex shut off at 103 questions. Did I pass. This is my second time taking the exam, last time was in May failed at 121 questions, today the exam shut off at 103 questions. I am scared to find out! I came across this chart but not sure if its 100% accurate.I took the NCLEX this morning for the first time. It shut off at 85. I had 5 case studies that had 6 questions each and 3 or 4 more case studies with a single question and 5 or 6 select all that apply. Towards the end I was getting questions with words I could barely sound out in my head and had never heard before.

For you to fail, (meaning the exam shut off at 85 questions and did not ask you the other half of the questions) would mean that you did EXTREMELY poor. So to summarize, take a deep breath. The odds are in your favor. If for some reason you do fail at 85 definitely use Uworld or other NCLEX practice sites to take realistic practice exams to see ...YOU PASSED. if you got a shit-ton of "select all that apply" questions and it shut off at 75, there's zero way you failed. the test automatically adjusts difficulty based on your answers. You're fine kid, drink a beer and relax. Unless you're epicly underprepared, you're not likely to fail in 75 questions. ….
